FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is it safe? The short answer is yes, it’s as safe as any equivalent treatment administered by a professional with years of experience in skin care. All of our treatments are non-surgical, and though some come with the potential for short-term bruising and tenderness, recovery times are rapid and the results will be worth any minor discomfort. Of course, some treatments do carry the potential for risk, so, as a professional practice with your care at the heart of all we do, we insist on a consultation with one of our practitioners before your treatment. This is our opportunity to learn all we need to in order to minimalise any risk factors and maximise the potential results of your treatment.
-
What’s the recovery time? Many of our treatments have no recovery time at all for most patients, enabling you to go back to normal activity immediately after your visit to us. For some treatments and for some patients we will recommend that you take 24 to 48 hours to recover, sometimes limiting your activities, sometimes restricting your use of make-up. When a treatment has the potential to cause bruising that may take a little longer to reduce, we will inform you of this either before your arrival or at your consultation.
-
Do you have treatments for all skin types?Absolutely. Our practitioners are fully trained skin experts with years of experience behind them. Our consultations are our opportunity to assess whether your skin type, condition or age poses any additional risk, but it is incredibly rare that any of these factors will prevent you from receiving a treatment. There are, though, circumstances in which our practitioners may feel your selection is not best suited to your needs or wishes. Should this happen, we will recommend a more appropriate alternative treatment.
-
Will I get a natural look?Of course. We pride ourselves on a gentle approach to your skin care, and no matter the treatment you select we will personalise our approach to suit your individual needs to ensure as natural a look as possible. We are not here to change the way you look, we’re here to bring out the best you possible.
-
How long will results last? This varies depending on the treatment and the patient, as everyone reacts slightly differently to the treatments we offer. Some last for months, others potentially for years, but all are repeatable, so if you have any questions at all, please do ask us, we’re dedicated to providing an open, honest and informed service.
